These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Anytime Car Rental website ("Website") and your online car rental bookings. By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Rental Qualifications & Requirements
- You must be at least 18 years old (or the minimum age as required by law in your rental location) to rent a car.
- You must possess a valid driver's license from your country of residence and any international driving permit (IDP) required at your rental location.
- You must have a valid credit card in your name for the rental deposit and potential charges.
- You agree to comply with all traffic laws and regulations during your rental period.
2. Booking & Payment
- You can book a car online through our Website.
- The quoted price includes base rental rate, but may not include taxes, fees, optional extras (child seats, GPS, etc.) or one-way drop-off charges. These additional charges will be clearly identified during the booking process.
- You may be required to pay a prepayment at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. The prepayment amount will be specified during the booking process.
- We accept major credit cards for online payments.
3. Cancellations & Modifications
- You can cancel or modify your booking online through your account or by contacting Anytime Car Rental customer service.
- Cancellation fees will apply depending on the notice period before your pick-up time. The specific cancellation fees will be displayed during the booking process.
- Any changes to your rental agreement after pick-up, such as extending the rental period, may require additional charges.
4. Vehicle Use & Responsibility
- You are responsible for the rented vehicle during the rental period.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in all rental vehicles.
- The vehicle must only be operated by authorized drivers listed on the rental agreement. All additional drivers must meet the rental qualifications.
- You are liable for any damage to the vehicle during the rental period, unless covered by the purchased optional damage waiver.
5. Insurance & Damage Waiver
- Anytime Car Rental provides basic liability insurance coverage (coverage details will be available during booking).
- You can purchase optional damage waiver (CDW) to reduce your financial liability in case of vehicle damage.
- Please refer to the specific terms and conditions of the CDW product for details of coverage and exclusions.
6. Refusal of Service
Anytime Car Rental reserves the right to refuse service to any person at its sole discretion, including those who:
- Do not meet the rental qualifications.
- Appear intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.
- Provide false or misleading information.
- Have a history of violating car rental agreements.
7. Limitation of Liability
Anytime Car Rental shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Website or the rental vehicle.
8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Website or the rental service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Alberta, Canada.
9. Modifications to Terms & Conditions
Anytime Car Rental reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
